WHANGAREI, Monday.

Brilliant weather prevailed for the opening of the Whangarei Bowling Club's annual tournament. There was a record number of visitors representing twelve clubs. Included amongst them are ?-S full rink teams, competing in four sections. The visitors were welcomed by Mr. P. Judd, local president. Results of the games follow. FIRST ROUND.
