Unopposed.

Walsh (Lab., Lancashire), Colonel LangFox (Con., Barkston), Mr. C. R. Attlee (Lab., Stepney), who belong to the House of Commons, should by arrangement between the parties be unopposed at the general election. It is pointed out that with the difficult and delicate duties devolving upon them, the Commissioners will have little opportunity to keep in touch with their constituencies.

The proposal seems certain of adop tion.
