FARM APPRENTICES.
ADVICE TO YOUNG SETTLERS,
(Received 11 a.m.) LONDON, October 3. Twenty-five boys who are proceeding to South Australia in the Hobsori Bay, the first batch under the farm apprenticeship scheme, were farewelled at Australia House, by Sir G. Ryrie (High Commissioner) and others.
The boys were assured that there were plenty of chances on tbe land in South Australia and were advised not to go to the cities, even if the cauntry conditions were at first discouraging. (A. and N.Z. and Sydney "Sun.")
