CONVENTION ENDS. The annual convention of the Auckland Provincial Christian Endeavour Union terminated last evening with a banquet in Wesley Hall, Pitt Street, which was attended by 100 members. It was followed by a gathering in Beresford Street Congregational Church, which was presided over by the Rev. Lionel B. Fletcher. Among those present were seven members of the oid Ponsonby Christian Endeavour Society, which was the first branch started in Auckland. There were also several members present of the original Helping Hand Mission in Freeman's Bay. The following officers were elected:—
President, the Rev. Lionel B. Fletcher; vice-presidents, Messrs. H. B. Bristow and S. Barry; secretary, Miss Ethel Walters; treasurer, Mrs. Snowden; committee, the Rev. A. S. Wilson, the Rev. E. Nicholls, Messrs. F. A. Wrenn, N. Carless, G. Campbell and J. Graham.
