PICTURE HALL BURNED.

ENTERTAINMENT CUT SHORT. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) KAITAIA, Monday. A picture hall owned by Mr. Powell at Pawarenga, near Whangape, was burned down on Saturday evening. The fire broke out while a film was being screened, and the hall was soon in flames. The audience left in an orderly manner, and no one was injured. A piano and an engine were saved.
