SERIES OF FALLS.
MINOR INJURIES RECEIVED. THREE PERSONS IX HOSPITAL. A fracture of the right leg was received by Miss McDowell, of 19, Williamson Avenue, Grey Lynn, through slipping and falling in • Newton Road yesterday afternoon. She was taken to the Auckland Hospital by the St. John Ambulance, -and after receiving attention she was removed to her home.
Through a ladder falling on hitn while he was working in the new railway workshops at Otahuhu, Mr. Trevor Pearce, a moulder, received injuries to his back. He was removed to the Hospital by the St. John Ambulance. His injuries are not considered serious. Mr. Pearce, who is 22 years of age, resides at 10, West End Road, Heme Bay. A fall from his bicycle in the 'Domain resulted in a 16-year-old boy, Robert Cook, who resides at 77, Eden Terrace, sustaining a fracture of the collarbone. He was admitted to the Hospital.
