The death occurred unexpectedly this morning, from heart failure, of .Mr. i iporge Henry Wood, one of the prinI'ipal* of the ladies' outfitting firm known a 9 A. M. Wood, in Bank Street. \\ hangarei. Wood, whoi was 74 years ftf *g», was a native of New South Wales, wnere he became a commercial traveller, working extensively in the Islands. He came to New Zealand about 30 years ago, and <<ntercd the employ of Messrs. Sargood, Sr*i and Ewcn, and subsequently set up in hustings on his own account in Palmerston North, in the retail fur trade. Ho remained live years, and was regarded as one of the leading fur expert* in the Dominion.
