The funeral of the late Mr. S. A. Pattoii took place this afternoon. Mr. Patton, whose occupation as a commercial traveller brought him into touch with people in all parts of the Dominion, wae of a kind and generous disposition, and wan widely esteemed. Over 90 rommercial travellers were present, and a numbor of Freemasons and Foresters joined in the cortege, which was one >A the largest seen in Palmeiston North. The impressive ceremonial services of the Freemasons and Foresters were read. Floral tributes and messages of condolence were received from all i-ms of the Dominion.
