MR. SAMUEL STANTON.
Another of the Albertlanders, in the person of Mr. Samuel Stanton, died at his residence, 45. Cheshire .Street, Parnell, yesterday afternoon. Mr. Stanton vfras born at Walsall, Staffordshire, England in 18oJ>, and arrived in New Zealand with his parents some four years later by the ship Ida Ziegler. After a brief sojourn at Port Albert. the family werjt to the Thame*. Later Mr. Stanton returned to Auckland and served hi* apprenticeship in the tailoring trad» with the late Mr. Charles Langsford. Mr. Stanton has been carrying on business on his own account in Parnell since 189>. Ihe deceased is survived by his wife and six children, these being Mr*. ft. Corin. of Pongaroa, Hawke's Bay; Mrs. J. C. Henderson and Mrs. W. (iunson, of Te Kuiti; Mrs. E. B. Pri.-ton. Miss Mavis St.inton and Mr. F.. T. Stanton, the la*t thrr.' being all of Auckland.
