NEW SUNDAY SCHOOL.

AT BEHESFORD STREET

COST OVER £40imi

During the three years that the Rev. Lionel B. Fletcher has been at Beresford Street Congregational Church there has been a marked growth in the attendance at the Sunday School. Some time ago it was evident that further accommodation was needed, and at length it was decided to put up a brick structure on a design which included the old buildinc, fitted up for the primary department. This was necessary, as there were about 100 children attending the primary section. The roll of the school is now over 250. A contract was let to Messrs. Craig Bros., builders, and when completed the cost will be about £4000. At the rear of the building class-rooms are underneath the main structure. One is a large room to accommodate the Bible class, which now numbers 70. The new school, which will shortly be opened, fills a long-felt want at the church.
