"NEW ZEALAND-MADE"
SHOPPING WEEK. Taking for a motto, "Auckland expects all buyers this week to do their duty," a New Zealand Made shopping week will start" on Monday. The main display will be held in Queen Street, when all the leading shop windows will be specially decorated. From June 15 to 20 the Town Hall will be converted into a "national storehouse." A huge Maori pa will be erected on the stage, and from out of this will come living advertisements of New Zealand made goods. There will be a big Maori prologue of warriors and maidens in ancient hakas and pois.
