PALMERSTON NORTH, this^dTy" The championships at the Manawatu musical competitions were awarded to the following:— Lady elocutionist, Miss Muriel Craig (Wanganui); lady vocalist, Mies Doris Symes (Wanganui). Gentleman vocalist, Mr. H. W. Smales (Waikato). Girl elocutionist, Marion Brock (Wanganui); boy elocutionist, C'edric Muir (Wellington). Dancer, Joyce Hay ward (Feilding). Choir, All Saints' (Palmerston North); school choir, Convent (Palmerston North).
