"BETTER AGAIN."
MAN WHO TOOK POISON,
Becoming very despondent over hie financial aff&.rs, a middle aged man, on May «, drank poison in an endeavour to end his life. But it was not to be. He was removed to the hospital, and left the institution this morning quite O.K. again. "Feel all right now?" asked Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., of the man when he appeared at the Police Court this morning on a charge of attempted euicide. "Yes, better again, thank you," said accused. The man was convicted and ordered to come up for sentence, when called upon, Mr. Hunt agreeing to suppress his name.
