FIRE AT PAHIATUA.
(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) PAHIATUA, this day. A seven roomed residence occupied by Charles Frederick Holdaway Ballance, and owned by his father, Mr. Ernest S. Holdaway, was completely destroyed with its contents by fire last night, while a fierce gale was blowing. There is a comprehensive policy on the residence and cow-shed in the South British for £(>.">o. and on furniture £200 and piano £80 in the State Office.
