MOTOR TYRE EXPLODES.

MAN DASHED ON FLOOR. PAINFUL INJURIES. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) PUKEKOHE, this day. The tyre of a motor-lorry burst while it was being inflated on Friday afternoon, and its owner, Mr. S. J. Murray, of Puni, was flung ten feet and dashed on a concrete floor. He received body bruises and a haemorrhage of the eyes. After being attended by a doctor he was taken home, and is progressing well.
