Both Coveut Garden and city markets realised excellent prices. Jonathans, a few 10/ per case, others 14'6 to IS'; Cox's, 23' to 30'; Dunns 17/ to 18,'; Cleopatras, 14/6 to 20/, mostly 17/ to 17 6; Delicious, 13 6; Adams, 13, (i to 14/. For pears phenomenal prices weic realised as a shortage of South African supplies left the market practically bare. Trays of Cornice brought 14/6 to 24/, \\ internelis B'6 to 12', cases of Winter Bartlett brought 30 . Keitfer 10/ to 24. .
