THE BOARD'S REPORT
GOOD DEMAND FOR EASTER
The New Zealand Dairy Produce Board has received the following market report from the London agem v. dated April S. 1927:-
Butter.—Xew Zealand, salted 150/ to 154/ per cwt, unsalted 162/ to 164/. Prices irregular during the week, but a good demand for Easter trade. Australian, finest salted 150/ to 154/, unsalted 158/ to 162/; Argentine, tinest unsalted, 156/ to 158'; Dutch, unsalted, 178/ to ISO/; Danish. 180/, after having reached 186/ during week. Retail prices unchanged. Continental market shows slightly better tendency, but still little demand for colonial.
Cheese. —New Zealand, finest first white 75/ to 76/ per cwt, coloured 75/ to 77/. Market steady with good demand. Canadian, tinest white and coloured, 92/ to 94/. Market steady. English. finest farmers', 120/ to 124/; stocks small. Retail prices unchanged.
The board has also received the following advice from its agents in Canada: —
Butter.—Montreal, 43'-2 cents (1/9%), New York, SUVi cents (2/1U); Vancouver 43'.2 cents (1 9%).
