ACCIDENT AT WAITAKERE.
COLLAPSE OF A GANTRY. TWO WORKERS DTJURED. As a result of an accident that occurred at the Waitakere Dam this morning two City Council workmen. S. Hammond and C. F. Pearce. were admitted to the Auckland Hospital thia afternoon. At time of going to Press it is understood that the men's injuries are not serious. A report from Waitakere states that the accident was caused by the collapse of a gantry, which had been rijrged up to run trucks on. The men. who were working in the vicinity of the santrv. were knocked about by pieces of stone from the trucks.
