UNIVERSITY DEGREES.

■ SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES. The following degrees were granted to-day by the University Council: — S. Kenneth Phillips, Doctor of Music. G. H. Cunningham and J. R. Hosking, Doctor of Physics. N. L. Edson, Bachelor of Medical Science. A letter was received from H. O. • Askew informing the council that, as a Dominion research scholar at the Imperial College, he had obtained the Doctor of Physics degree of the London University and the Diploma of the Imperial College.
