OBITUARY.
MRS. G. WHITELAW. . At the age of S3 years, Mrs. G. Whitelaw died at her home, Arney Road, Remiiera, on Sunday. Mrs. Whitelaw arrived, in Auckland 47 years ago with her children, in the ship Endymion. Her husband, Mr. George Whitelaw, hadalready been .in New Zealand, holding the position of inspector's accountant in- the Bank of. New Zealand. His death took place many years ago. Mrs. Whitelaw lived for a long time at SheHy Beach JRoad, Ponsqnby, and was an active memher of St. Stephen's Presbyterian Church. She was -at one time closely identified with the work of tl'o V W.C.A. Deceased .is survived by four sons and iix daughters. Three of her children reside in London. There are fourteen grand children and two great-grand children. ■-.
