BIRKENHEAD GAS. CO. PAYS USUAL DIYIDHEND. The annual statement of accounts and balance sheet of the Birkenhead and Northcote Gas Co. show that a satisfactory year has been experienced. A net profit of £2395 has been earned, enabling the "payment of 7 per cent to ordinary shareholders as well as the dividend dv€ on preference shares. Ou hundred new consumers have been added during th< year.
