New Zealand Control Board official minimum prices are: —Finest, 172/; first grade, 170/. Australian. —Salted, 166/ to 170/; unsalted. 168/ to 172./; other qualities, 140/ to 160.'. Canadian.—l 64/ to 165/. Argentine.—Unsalted, 156/ to 160/; other qualities, 136/ to 154/. Siberian.—ls4/ to 156/. Danish.—lS6/ to 188/. Cheese. Canadian market steady. New Zealand slow. Official quotations are: — English Finest Farmers.— (Demand is good) 108/ to 112/ per cwt. Canadian.—Finest coloured and white, 94/ to 96/: exceptional, 98/. New Zealand. —Coloured and white, 95/ to 96/. Control Board minimum prices are: Finest, 96/ per lb); first grade, 95/. Australian.—Coloured, 92/ to 93/. Shipments of New Zealand produce arrived this week per Kia Ora, Port Hacking and Rimutaka. Tallow. Poor demand at auction. Official quotations are:—Mutton, fine 40/ per cwt, fair to good 36/6 to 39/, dark to dull 35/ to 35/6; beef, sweet and/or mixed 37/6 to 40/. fair to good 35/6 to .37/, dark to dull, 34/ to 35/; mixed, fair to good, 35/ to 37/, dark to dull, 34/ to 34/6; gut, etc., 32/6 to 34,'. Apples. Market dull and irregular. Current prices for boxes:—American, red sorts 7/6 to 10/, Newton Pippin 9/6 to 12/; Canadian, red sorts 10/6 to 12/6; Newton Pippin 12/ to 14/. Hemp. Manila market firm and closed quieter. "J" grade October-December shipments sold at £48 and January-March shipments £47 10/. Output from January 1 to November 30, 1,160,000 ' bales, against 1,138.000 for same period last year. Stocks in Manila at November 30, 150,000, against 164,000; Great Britain, 6428, against 29,374. Sisal market irregular, on report Mexican offered £28 10/ c.i.f. Great Britain. Fair demand for No. 2 Tanganyika at £41. Little offering. New Zealand market quiet but steady, ■with little offering. High points December-February shipments quoted sellers £38 10/ and fair £36 10/. • Wool. Bradford market quiet with only small amount of new business being done.
