HUNTLY HIGH SCHOOL.
OPENING OF NEW WING. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) HUNTLY, this day. The Hon. R. F. Bollard, Minister of Internal Affairs, yesterday officially opened the new wing of the secondary department of the Huntly District High School. In the course of his address, the Minister said that attention to the needs of the country districts tended to check the drift to the towns, and the Education Department recognised this. He commended the successful efforts of the committee and the headmaster in beautifying the school grounds, as well as the interest shown by the Huntly people in the school, and urged the children to take full advantage of the facilities provided for secondary education.
