VALENTINO'S FUNERAL.
TO TAKE PLACE TO-DAY. NEW YORK, August 29. Douglas Fairbanks and several picturemaking directors and producers will carry the coffin of Rodolph Valentino, whose funeral is to take place on Monday. Dressed in mourning, Miss Pola Negri, who was to have married the star, remained in seclusion as her train passed through Chicago on the way to New York yesterday. Numerous sacks of letters have been received by the Valentino Memorial Committee. Some of these are believed to contain contributions to the memorial fund.—'(Rmiter.)
