FRANKTON CLUB. The first meeting of the Frankton Coursing Club was held at Whatawhata on Saturday. Good entries were received, and some fine sport witnessed. Results :— Maiden Stakes (16 dogs).—First round: Palboy beat Autumn King; Hurricane beat Merry Diamond; Guyboy beat Blng; Te Aroha Boy beat Windbag; Hipo beat Poltore ; Arran Chief beat Wrangle; Silver liocks ran a bye; Star of the East beat Australian Chief. First Ties : Hurricane beat Palboy; Gayboy beat Te Aroha Boy; Hipo beat Arran i Chief: Silverloeks beat Star of the East. ; Semi-final. —Gayboy beat Hurricane ; • Silverlocks beat Hdpo. j Final. —F.
