ACTIVE DISPLAYS.
(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent) WHAKATANE, this day. Yesterday, White Island was showinj unusual activity, huge volumes of steam making a magnificent sight from th» Rangitaiki Plains. The Onepu Springs also appeared to bt extra active. A long series of heavy frosts hai ended, and the usual Bay of Plenty mildf sunny weather seems to have returned.
