The funeral of the late Mrs. Mary T» arell took place yesterday afternoon, when, in addition to the relatives, many friends were present to pay their respects to the deceased, who was held in deep regard by all who knew her. A short service was held at the home of her daughter, Mrs. E. M. Walton, Ngapuhi Road, Remuera, by the Rev. R. Geo. Coats, vicar of the Church of the Epiphaly, and the service at the graveside in Purewa Cemetery was taken by the Rev. H. A. Coleman, of St. Aidan's Church. Mrs. Searell was the widow of the late Mr. Richard Trist Searell, who was a lead'ng figure in musical activities in Christchurch and Southland. MR .A. G. SANDERSON. (By Telegraph.—Press association.) (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, Saturday. The death is reported, at the age of 50, of Mr. William Suttie, a prominent member of the Sunnysids Bowling Club.
