At the Magistrate's Court, J. R. Ciochetto was fined £3 and costs for failing to clear ragwort. He had partly cleared his farm but left a patch that had seeded.

R. W. Granville was fined 30/ and costs, he also having failed to clear ragwort. He was further fined 30/ and costs for failing to clear blackberry off his farm.

These actions were brought by the inspector of noxious weeds.

For failing to comply with the heavy traffic regulations in not obtaining licenses, six informations were laid and fines ranging from 20/ and costs up to £11 16/ and costs were imposed on the defendants.

Thomas Coleman was fined £2 and costs for shooting a neighbour's pig that had broken into his garden. The bullet passed riebt through tbe pig's body, hut did not kill it. and the animal had to be destroyed next day.
