CONFLICTING EVIDENCE.

HAMILTON, this day.
Some extraordinarily conflicting evidence was given in the Supreme Court by the chief witness in a charge of incest alleged against a well-known farmer. ih answer to counsel' his Honor said he would certainly direct the jury that it would be dangerous to convict on such evidence. The case is proceeding.
