PLUMBER INJURED.
FELL THROUGH ROOF.
A plumber, Mr. Reginald Leslie Smith, aged 29, a eingle man residing at the Grosvenor Hotel, in Hobson Street, was admitted to the Auckland Hospital this morning, having sustained a fractured arm by failing through the roof at the new tram barn in Gaunt Street.
Mr. Smith was walking along a beam carrying a plank, when he slipped and fell a distance of about 18 feet, sustaining a fracture of the arm. Hβ was conveyed to the hospital, where he was admitted suffering from shock.
