ASSOCIATION FOOTBALL.
AN OXAGO COMPLAINT.

DUNEDIN, thla day. Objection wai taken by members of the Management Committee of the Otago Football Association to what was considered a move on the part of the New Zealand Council to centralise the best Soccer in Wellington. The question arose when in a scrutiny of the council's minutes a clause was reached which mentioned a proposal to cive £25 for the annual primary schools' tournament, "to be contested in Wellingto Mr? pointed out that the Otago school team last year travelled to Canterbury and Wellington, and apparently w<>re exoeoted to do co again. It was decided to draw the council's attention to the matter and intimate that the Association tbe game should be fostered in the South Island as well as m the North.
