COLONEL TULLOCH'S DEATH.
DETENTION OF A MAN. MELBOURNE, May 12. After a search in five suburbs detective? have detained a man named Henry Pierce in connection with the murder of Colonel E. Tulloch at a boarding house in East Melbourne early last Sunday morning. It is stated that the man refused to make a satisfactory statement concernin" his movements last Friday night. He was remanded on a charge of vagrancy nending further inquiries In* November, 1930, a man named i Davidson was shot fatally• whfle questioning two men whom he thought were trrin'tn break into the house.
