DAIRY CONTROL.
SUPREME COURT SUMMONS. BOARD'S POSITION CHALLENGED. There -vras filed in the Wellington Supreme Court yesterday an originating summons in the matter of the Declaratory Judgments Act, 1908, and the Dairy Produce Export Control Act, 1923. This summons asks a number of questions for the purpose of interpreting the last-mentioned Act, and of ascertaining the powers of t>e Dairy Produce Control Board, especially in relation to the absolute control of dairy produce for export. The matter is between the Dairy Proprietory Association of Wellington and the Waitaki Dairy Company, Ltd., on the one side and on the other si<le the Dairy Produce Control Board. Messrs. Findlay, Hoggard and Morrison are acting for the plaintiffs, the Dairy Proprietary Association and the Waitaki Dairy Company. _
