FOR SUMMER TIME MEMORIAL. LONDON, February 22. Mr. Winston Churchill, president of the committee, is appealing for £12,000 to purchase Pettswood, an-ancient woodland in the vicinity of Chislehurst, as a memorial to Mr. Willett, the originator of summer time, an idea which occurred during Mr. Willett's early morning rides at Pettswood.—(A. and N.Z.
