PROFESSIONAL TOURNAMENT. NEW ZEALAND CHAMPIONSHIP WON BY MdSTTOSH. (By Telegraph.—Fress Association.! DUNEDBT, Friday. The weather was ideal for golf when the third round of the Otago professional championship was commenced. A. J. Shaw (Wellington) went out in 36 and home in 30, while J. R. Galloway (Palmerston North) had a good round of 75. J. A. Clements (Christchureh) hud a rocky passage and could not settle down to serious golf. H. RBlair (Christchurcb.) made very few mistakes and finished with 78. At the close of the morning round Shaw -was four strokes better than J. Mclntosh (Hutt), and three better than J. B. Galloway. Mclntosh played with Blair in the last round. He played great golf, finishing in 70. He won from Shaw by two strokes and broke the New Zealand record for 72 holes, which he completed in 293. Last year - he did 294. Shaw was right off his game for Several holes in the final round. He -went out in 39, three strokes more than Mclntosh. He played with J. R. Galloway, who was steady until a heavy shower fell. At the Glen (the ninth) Mclntosh placed his tee shot on the green, a distance of 325 yds. The third stake handicap, played in the morning, was won by A. J. Shaw (Wellington) with a score of 75. Details are: Shaw, score 72 (handicap plue 3), total 75; J. R.
