PRIVY COUNCIL
LENGTHY LIST OF APPEALS. 1 At present there are pending an unusual number of appeals to the Privy Council from New Zealand Court decisions. On the average not more than two or three cases go forward from New Zealand each year to the ultimate tribunal in Eng-land. At the present time, however, there are no fewer than eight cases going forward, amongst which are the following: Lysnar v. Gisborne Harbour Board; Long v. Barker, an Auckland will case; The King , v. The Crown Milling Company and Distributors, Ltd., and j'thers, in connection with the alleged flourmilling tru&t; Wright v. Morgan; Bossett V. Wilkinson, a case of rescission of contract; Gardiner v. Te Pom and others, arising out of a native lease case; Cleave v. McDonald; and Manawatu Drainage Board v. Tremaine. In a number of these eases, Mr. M. Myers, K.C., will appear for one or other of the parties, and leaves for England in March. Mr. Gresson, of Christchurch, will also appear.
