BANK NOTE FORGERIES. A BISHOP INVOLVED. BUDAPEST, January 19. The Public Prosecutor yesterday asked the examining magistrate to order the arrest of Bishop Zadravecs, chaplaingeneral to the Hungarian army, in connection with the bank note scandal. The magistrate refused, however. The authorities also declined to prosecute the bishop on the ground that he was not engaged in criminal transactions, and had not attempted to flee from justice. Count Apponyi, in a speech at the Social Club, said that the supporters of legitimism were organising, not on political hut on social lines. Their next step ! would be the institution of an organisa- ! tion of Hungarian women under the ' presidency of Countess Apponyi. The count added: "The wasp's nest of forgers must be smoked out."(Reuter.)
