■ - ■ « •- ■ STRUCK BY LIGHTNING. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WHANGAREI, this day. .Mr. Geo. Walker, of Maunu farm, lost his pedigree Jersey bull "Maori Squire," which had been bred by Mr. H. B. Lepper, the well-known Taranaki breeder. The bull was in a paddock with a chain through his nose, when he was stuck by lightning.'
