INTER-SECTION < RINK PLAY. WINS FOR CASEY, WRIGHT AND PILKINGTON. BREMNER BEATEN. - (By Telegraph.—Press . Association.) - DUNEDIN, this day. Play continued in the bowling tournament" in beautiful weather with post section play in rinks, and with section and green winners in the pairs. In the first round of the rinks; Davies (Timaru) made • a poor show against Thomson (Southland) and was defeated 30—11.. Harraway (Dunedin) played a close game with Gray (Kclburn), and the game finished up with a win for Gray by 16—13. Gibson (Taieri) and Dee (Maitai) kept together for the first . half of the game, when the Taieri mas, went away, winning 24 —16. Hutchison (Dunedin) versus Bremner (West End, Auckland) was expected to provide a keen game, but the Dunedin man ran away in the early stages and won, 23 —7. Wright (St. Helier's) met McCurdy (St. Kilda). The northern man had all the best of the first part of the game, and won eventually, 19—18. Stewart (Dunedin) versus Graham (Gore) was close all the way, and a tie resulted on the extra head. Dunedin scored three and won 2320. Casey (Carlton) versus Malcolm (Balmacewan) looked an easy win for Casey in the early stages, but Malcolm picked up and only lost by 25 to 22. Anderson (Roslyn) versus Pilkington (Hamilton) was all in favour of Hamilton, who won. 22 —13. In the pairs, Mackenzie (Sydenham)", Walker (Auckland), Hosking (Carlton) and Redpath (Canterbury) arc still surviving, Redpath being among the green winners.
