CONVICTS' PLOT.
DOPE FOB "WARDERS. PRISONERS ARMED. NEW YORK, January 10. The boldest plot ever made by New York gangs has been frustrated by the authorities. Gangsters had prepared, to the smallest particulars, plans to attack Jersey City gaol and release many of their incarcerated comrades. Trusted prisoners inside the prison had been picked out to put morphine in the guards' coffee. When searched many of the prisoners were found to be in possession of gunpowder and -weapons.
