The watersiders, after working the phosphate cargo ot the steamer Cutcomb from Nauru for about two hours this morning came out demanding 2/10 per hour instead of 2/7., the award rate, on account of the dirty nature of the work. The matter was referred to Wellington. -Meantime the steamer is idle, though the fertiliser works are waiting for the phosphate to commence operations.
