THE CLUB COMPETITIONS. TEAMS FOR TO-MORROW. The club competitions under the auspices of the Auckland Cricket Association will be continued to-morrow afternoon, when the senior games started last week at North Shore and King's College will be completed, as also will the se'eond grade matches opened last week, and a new draw of third and fourth grade games will be ployed. . 'In the "North Shore game the home side has 122 runs on for the lose of one wicket, as against Grafton's innings of 162, and should have no difficulty in getting the. 40 rune with nine wickets in hand to make a sure win, apart altogether from what may happen in the second innings.
At Mangere there will be an interesting position right at the beginning of play; between Ponsonby and University, the former having made 120 and the latter having 99 runs on for nine wickets. The necessity of having to make a fresh start as -well Rβ get 21 runs with a last-wicket batsman in, is a position which favours the attacking side, Ponsonby, but University at the start of last year pulled some of their games very unexpectedly t out of the fire. In any case, the second innings may alter the whole complexion of the game.
■Eden batsmen have been set a pretty fair task in having to beat the 234 runs made by Parnell, against such attack as Parnell has tfcis year, and the play in this game should be interesting. The junior teams are:—r 'PARNELL. T i hl ™ Grade—W. J. Dinnison/ P. Horspool, H. Bllncoe, 11. Coulthurst. It. Stewart, £• ™, , a , tes ' J - Stokes. A. E. Wiuchconvbe, R. Tinkjer, B. Brownlee, M. R.
