NEW ZEALAND QUOTED FIRM.
LONDON, August 14.
The butter market is firm, but business is small. New Zealand, choicest, salted, is quoted at 196/ to 198/; Australian at 192/ to 194/, unsalted at about 4/ premium; and Danish at 216/.
Cheese is rather easier. New Zealand is quoted at 108/ to 109/, and Australian at 106/.—(A. and N.Z. Cable.)
Last week's report stated: The butter market is quiet and steady. Prices are unchanged. Cheese is firm. New Zealand is quoted at 109/.
