The Canterbury Steam Shipping Cony pany have sold their steamer Ripa to Burns, Philp and Co., for a sum in the neighbourhood of The vessel will be used in the Islands trade, and she leaves for Solomon Islands next week. She will be replaced in the local coastal trade by a larger and more modern vessel.
