OBITUARY.
MR. FRANCIS CREIGHTON. Tiic death took place nt TTestland Hospital recently or Mr. Francis i Frank i Creighton. a farmer, of Murchison. The deceased was formerly a well-known mine manager of Thames, "hen ho married Eliza, eldest iLaughter of tlie late -Tamer- MeXeiee. rounty foreman. Mr. Creighton had l't-en down in Okarito district inquiring into a white pine timber venture there, and caught a severe cold. He was brought to Hokitika. for treatment and ordered into Westland Hospital, where after a few days he died from pneumonia. Deceased was 67 years of age. and a native of Auckland. He leaves a widow, two son?, and two daughters to mourn their, loss. The late Mr. ( reiirhton had many friends in the Auckland district where he spent most of Ilia life.
