HOSPITAL BOARD MATTERS.
* ' CHAIRMAN RETURNS.
Mr. William Waflace, chairman of the Auckland Hospital Board, returned this morning from Wellington, where he attended tcr Hospital Board Association matters. A number were those which arose from the conference held recently in Auckland, and which were referred to the members of the executive committee, who went into the various matters in conjunction with the Public Health Department, with a view to having legislation passed during this session, giving effect to many of the recommendations made in Auckland. In Wellington, a committee waited upon the Prime Minister and impressed upon him the importance of having the matters dealt •with this session. "We were given a very good hearing," said Mr. Wallace.
