LITTLE BOY INJURED.

KNOCKED DOWN BY WAGON. Shortly after nine o'clock this morning a lad aged eight years, named Kevin Arthur Clarke, of 18, Auckland Road, Onehunga. was knocked down near the Koyal Oak corner by one of Messrs. Ambury's motor wagons, driven by Herbert W. Heaven. The wagon was proceeding along at a slow pace when the boy, it is stated, suddenly ran out from near the shelter shed, aiid though the wagon was stopped within a few feet, a collision could not he avoided, and the boy was knocked down. He was at once conveyed to the Auckland Hospital, and it is feared that the spine lias been fractured.
