PETITION TO PARLIAMENT,

WELLINGTON, this day.
A petition signed by G. A. Blackwell and Iβ other eefctlere of Tryphena, Port Fitzroy, and Whangateau, as presented to the Houee of Representatives by Mr. Savage, sets forth: "We are eetttere who have no way of getting our goods to city except by water. Under regulations issued by the Marine Department, we are prevented from taking our produce to market by our own launches. We are bound, under great hardship, to pay freight on our produce, which, depletes our profits and causes us great inconvenience. Our petition is, therefore, that the former uee and practice which we at one time enjoyed of carrying our produce in our launches be restored to us." The signatures ere: €h A. Blackwell, John T.
