DUNEDIN, Thureday.
In a Press Association message sent out .on Tuesday evening regarding the manslaughter charge against William Martin Heckler and Edward Carnegie, a serious* error was caused by tho omission of one word. The message reported that the jury returned with a verdict of guilty in each case, whereas the verdict was not guilty in each case. It is regretted that the error occurred and an apology is tendered to the persons injuriously affected.
