FARM LABOURERS.
■ ■ COURT REFUSES AWARD. IBy Telegraph.—Press Association-) DUNEDIN, Friday. The Arbitration Court refused to make an award applied for by the union to cover the conditions of employment of farm labourers in Otago. The Judge described the application as a farce. Previously the Court had declined to make au award as the conditions of work varied in different districts, and it seemed almost impossible to regulate the work in all these districts. Nothing had occurred to cause the Court to alter its mind in the matter.
